Joseph Linta
Joseph LintaPresident

Matt Ritchie
Matt RitchieLicensed Agent
Matt works in client representation, focused primarily on the recruiting process, talent evaluation, pre-draft preparation and assists in the transition from a collegiate to a professional athlete. Matt is also involved in the negotiation of rookie and veteran contracts. Matt values the importance of building a strong relationship with his clients and exemplifies this through honesty, fairness, dedication and trust. “The ultimate goal is to put our clients in the best possible position to succeed and to ensure long term success in their careers.” After graduating from Sacred Heart University, Matt went on to receive is M.S. in Sport Management at the University of New Haven. As a competitor his whole life he brings an endless amount of motivation and drive to everything he does. He knows football and he understands the skillset needed to compete at the highest level of the sport. In addition, Matt has spent 5 years as a high school football coach in Connecticut.
Seth Katz
Seth KatzLicensed Agent / Director of National Recruiting
A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Seth has been involved in all aspects of professional sports management since 2007 including marketing, product endorsement, athlete management services and player representation. Seth created Alumni Management Group in 2007 with the primary goal of providing essential services to current and former professional athletes in order to assist them in preparing for their life following retirement from professional sports – a first-of-its-kind organization to connect current and retired NFL players with a variety of services, from publicity to accounting to legal needs. Seth’s original vision remains the foundation for his management philosophies and brings together all of the many and varied services required by today’s professional athlete. He has been credited in countless journals including the Baltimore Sun, Sports Business Daily and the Washington Examiner as developing a groundbreaking philosophy for representing the needs of professional athletes.

Seth is a graduate of Towson University with a Bachelors Degree in Political Theory and also holds a Masters Degree in Political Philosophy. He is an accomplished author who has penned several mainstream children’s books under the pen name Marc John Jefferies.

Alan Hobbs
Alan HobbsDirector of Recruiting
Since 2007 Alan Hobbs has been a leader in the sports marketing industry, having negotiated substantial marketing and endorsement deals with some of the nation’s largest brands including CBS Media, Geico, Johnsonville, Nike, Under Armour, BMW, Ford, Chevrolet, British Petroleum, Dunkin Brands, Southwest Airlines, AT&T among others. Alan’s multi-faceted approach to athlete management services continues to keep him on the cutting edge of the industry.

Alan’s specific areas of expertise include athlete brand recognition, endorsement partnerships, global marketing and public relations campaigns and charitable giving partnerships. Alan joined Seth Katz in 2007 and was instrumental in assisting in the development of the operational and management philosophies that continue to result in success for their clientele.

Mike Boyer
Mike BoyerLicensed Agent / Director of Football Operations
Mike Boyer’s many responsibilities include talent evaluation, recruiting, and contract negotiation. He also plays a large role in client community outreach. Mike got his start in athlete representation by working for a national sports “super agency,” where he was entrusted with contract, marketing, and recruiting duties. From there he served as Director or Football Operations for a Southeast boutique sports agency whose client signed the NFL’s first $100 million contract for a non-quarterback. Prior to joining JL Sports, he founded his own firm, Agility Football.

Mike received his undergraduate degree with honors from Boston University, where he played Division I football while the school was a member of what is today the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). Mike received his law degree from Catholic University. He is a licensed attorney in Washington, DC. Mike was born and raised in Pennsylvania, where he fell in love with the game of football. Mike and his wife Samantha reside in the Washington, DC area and are proud parents of daughter Georgia, and son MJ.

Lori Evon
Lori EvonDirector of Marketing & Client Services
Lori Evon is on staff with JL Sports in Marketing & Client Services. Lori has worked many years in the apparel industry. She also has an extensive background working with not for profit organizations, corporate sponsorship and event planning. She has been a member of the Walter Camp Football Foundation for over 10 years and is a member of the Board of Governors. Lori is is a graduate of Quinnipiac University.
